Chief Executive Officer (Director)

Aaron Barr

Aaron is recognized as one of the foremost hemp experts in Canada, with a diverse background in business and agriculture. Aaron graduated from University of Alberta, with a major in Business Law and Economics. Since then, Aaron has specialized in developing cannabis varieties, cultivation practices, and products manufacturing. Aaron is also on his second 2 year term on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance (CHTA).

Chief Technology Officer

Kyle Greene

Kyle is a Professional Chemist and an Environment professional with expertise in technology commercialization, research and development, and environmental management. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, and a Masters in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry from the University of Alberta. Kyle has 15 years of CTO experience leading development and commercialization of technology for private and public companies. His expertise and experience include intellectual property generation for technologies in water, energy, municipal and agriculture sectors. Kyle has been part of the growth of renewable energy implementing innovative solar and bioenergy projects that have been recognized by the Alberta government, CANSIA and Cleantech.

VP of Technology

Rob Wilson

Rob provides supervisory and hands-on experience, taking CRHC projects from the concept/design stage through to completion, commissioning, and operation. Rob has over a decade of experience working in water treatment, commercial/residential construction, equipment research and development, regulatory compliance testing, specialized equipment service and project management. He has worked on over 100 water treatment projects for the oil gas, pulp paper, horticulture, aquaculture and agricultural industries throughout western Canada. Rob is a certified AOWMA septic system designer and installer and is currently working towards his water treatment, wastewater treatment, and water distribution technician certifications at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Facility Manager

Doug Babichuk

Responsible for the daily operations of CRHC’s Bruderheim Processing Facility. Doug also assists in the design of new technology and the maintenance of proper work practices and all employees' safety and well-being. Doug has over 10 years of experience working in large manufacturing facilities and the agriculture industry. He is a 3rd Class Power Engineer (NAIT).

John Davidson

Partner at Carscallen LLP in Calgary, AB. University of Alberta, BA, University of Western Ontario, B.Law. John’s practice focused on corporate and securities law with emphasis on regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance for businesses in the Canadian cannabis industry.

President and owner of Loadstar Dispatchers Ltd., a large logistics company in Alberta. Extensive experience in transportation, and industrial processes. University of Alberta, B.Comm. Over 10 years of corporate experience working with large national and international companies.

Fedja Saric

Fedja is a Vice President, Investment Banking at a global bulge bracket investment bank. Prior to his career in finance, Fedja practiced securities law at a national Canadian law firm. Fedja is currently a founding shareholder and Director of Bodega Brands, a high-growth beverage brand start-up. He has also acted as strategic advisor to several start-ups in a variety of industries. He holds a B.A. from McGill University, as well as a J.D. and an MBA from Dalhousie University. Fedja is a CFA Charterholder and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2012.

Spencer specializes in maximizing operations and farming production efficiencies. University of Alberta, B.Sc Agriculture Business Management. With over a decade of experience working for his family’s business “McEwen’s Fuels & Fertilizers”, a leading provider of agricultural inputs, agronomy, and bulk fuels in Alberta.

Katie Penstone

Katie is a communications professional with over a decade of experience working in communications and public relations in both the private and public spheres. Graduating from MacEwan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology. Katie specializes in grant writing, digital marketing and communications, and public and government relations.

Agriculture Operations Manager

Cam Parsons

Cam leads CRHC’s Agriculture Operations and provides agronomic and farm management support for farmers growing hemp on contract for CRHC. Cam graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2014, earning his BSc. Agriculture with a major in Crop Science. With nearly a decade of experience as an agronomist working in Northern Alberta, Cam has been a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) since 2015.

Business & Administration Manager

Derek Bohl

Derek is a successful sales professional with over 10 years' experience in the commercial trucking industry. Graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Derek’s has extensive experience in customer relations and sales which have provided him with strong interpersonal skills that enable his success in managing internal and external human relations. Owner of multiple cannabis retails in Western Canada.

Rob Macintosh

A leader in the growth and development of Canada's clean energy and sustainability sector, Rob has been working to advance environmental protection and sustainable business interests for nearly 40 years.  Rob is currently a Senior Partner at Green Planet Energy Analytics and founded the Pembina Institue in 1985, where he played a leadership role for 16 years and focused on corporate climate change strategy, carbon pricing, clean technology assessment, renewable energy policy and community stakeholder engagement. He also played a founding role in the Alberta Ecotrust Foundation, the Provincial Clean Air Strategic Alliance, GreenLearning Canada Foundation, and numerous other innovation initiatives. He holds (ancient) degrees from Queens University in Sciences and Education.

Corporate finance experience spanning mergers & acquisitions, debt capital markets and derivative risk management, entrepreneurship, CFO, private equity, and management consulting. Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, B.S. CFA charter holder and CPA candidate.

Stephen Moore

With more than twenty years of experience in the Plastics Industry, Stephen has been involved in all aspects of the business; operating manufacturing lines, supervising production, quality control, production scheduling, purchasing, new product development, contract negotiation, corporate management, and finance. Stephen is an active member of TEC Canada with over 10 years of experience, and a founding member of KEY545 (2009), focusing on professional development, leadership, execution, corporate best practices and business development. Stephen has also served as a board member on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Plastics Sector Council (CPSC) developing Essential Skills tools for the plastic manufacturing industry.
